Mission Statement

Hello!
The New Media Arts Council is an awesome student group committed to providing resources for New Media students and alumni, hosting exhibitions and events, encouraging innovation, and organizing volunteering opportunities. NewMAC also aims to network with local organizations and connect the student community with professional guest speakers. Our officers communicate with the faculty in an effort to expand opportunities for displaying work and provide access to better facilities, technology, internships, and post-grad options.

Even though it sometimes seems like web designers and computer science majors have little in common with animators or filmmakers, it seems fair to say everyone who takes New Media classes likes creating and discovering amazing stuff. NewMAC will continue to celebrate originality and the diversity of people's interests. Meetings and events remain open for anyone to drop in.
