AMANDA WILLIAMS

I am a double major of Art (focus in Drawing) and New Media (double focus in Animation and Video Production). I love that I can combine art and new media to bring my worlds and characters to life. I also enjoy manipulating photos in Photoshop. Some of my hobbies include cosplaying, archery and riddles.

NEWMAC CO-PRESIDENT

Chimin is a senior focusing in animation. He plans on going into game design. Chimin has studied abroad at City University in China and has interned with Spectra 3D Technologies, a local 3D printing company. He works on freelance animation and game design projects outside of classes at UNCA.

Cameron is concentrating in Video and Animation, and likes RPGs and awesome shows like Steven Universe.

KATELYN SCHUBEL

I’m a New Media major with a concentration in animation. I also have minors in Computer Science and Accounting. What do I want to do with all that? Become a storyboard artist, of course! Starting in high school I began publishing my work as an author/illustrator, and I’ve owned an online store on Etsy as well as RedBubble. I like mint ice cream, piña coladas and dancing in the rain (well, maybe I prefer long walks on the beach more).

My name is James, but I prefer to be called by my middle name; Connor. I'm one of the Promotions Managers for New MAC, and I'm a New Media major in the animation track. I grew up in Woodstock, GA and later moved to Statesville, NC and most recently Asheville. I have a keen interest in storytelling of almost every kind. My intention is to become a game developer or animator after graduation. I'm a gamer and avid D&D enthusiast. I love worldbuilding and storytelling, so I write fiction in my spare time.
